I'm so thankful to have found this site. My son is married and daughter in nursing school. I've wanted so badly to stay close but I feel us drifting apart as they are both so busy. Holidays seem to be a sad issue because it's difficult to get everyone together. I miss our traditions and joy together so much. I'm on meds for dep/anx disorder but these days still hurt.
I've also had to retire early from teaching for health reasons. My students bridged the gap for my empty nest. I really appreciate your insites, understanding, comfort, and suggestions on how to keep my faith.
